Speaking

Rod Burkert enjoys public speaking … and he’s never met a microphone he didn’t like!

Rod has spoken on valuation matters at national business valuation conferences (AICPA, ASA, and NACVA) and at training forums for ALI-ABA, the National Tax Institute, state CPA Societies, Chambers of Commerce, Estate Planning Councils, Bar Associations, law firms, and private banking groups.

Also, for 10 years Rod was a lead instructor for NACVA’s Training Development Team, which develops and presents professional education courses on business valuation. To date, he’s presented over 100 times to participants in NACVA’s Training Centers and Consultants’ Training Institutes. Rod is a recipient of various NACVA instructor awards, including Instructor of the Year and Circle of Light (the highest distinction given to NACVA instructors).

Contact Rod if you are interested in booking him to speak at your function.

I have known Rod for ten or more years. In that time, I’ve shared platforms with many speakers. Rod and I did a joint session at a national conference some time ago. I have never enjoyed working with another speaker as much as I did that engagement with Rod. He is highly professional, well-prepared, engaging and effective as a speaker and instructor. I look forward to the next opportunity!

What Rod Likes to Speak About

Rod likes to speak about “how to” topics. He’s not big on preaching valuation theory, but rather explaining how theory gets put into practice. Rod does that by teaching not only what he knows, but what he actually does … and his materials are laden with examples so participants can see all the steps.
