Email: amy.burkert@burkertvaluation.com Amy Burkert is the co-founder of Burkert Valuation Advisors, LLC. Amy has over ten years of combined experience in public accounting and valuation. She has valued companies in many industries and has worked extensively in valuations for wealth transfer planning, gift and estate tax compliance, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment testing, merger and acquisition, and intangible assets. Amy has lectured on valuation matters for the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, law firms, and industry groups. She has also developed a course for NACVA which she teaches in their Career Training Institutes, and has assisted in the development of several other valuation courses. Amy is actively involved in, and a board member of, the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council. Formerly, Amy was a senior associate at Murray Devine & Co., a business valuation and financial advisory firm in Philadelphia. Prior to that, she was employed at Howard Lawson & Co., an investment banking and business valuation firm, also located in Philadelphia. Prior to her experience in business valuation, Amy was a senior tax consultant with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in their Chicago practice. Amy graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has earned the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, recognizing special training and experience in the field of business valuation and adherence to standards established by the AICPA. |
